HouseKing is a shared chore list for households. This policy explains which personal data the service handles, why it handles it, and how to reach us about it.

Who is responsible for your data

HouseKing is provided by Munmun Solutions SRL. That company is the controller of the personal data in this policy. Write to [email protected] for any question or request.

What we collect

• Account data. Your email address, your display name and the sign-in details that the authentication service stores.
• Household data. The households you join, the other members of each household, the colour of each member and the invites that you send or accept.
• Task data. The tasks, their tier, their due dates and repeat rules, their assignee, and the completions with the member who completed each task and the points it earned.
• Device and technical data. If you allow notifications, a token that identifies your device. Also logs and error reports that keep the service running.

We do not collect health data. Do not enter health information in task titles or notes.

How we use it

We use the data to run the household list: to show the tasks, to award and show points, to rank the members, to calculate streaks and to keep the hall of fame. We use the technical data to keep the service reliable. We do not sell your data.

Who can see your data

The other members of your household see the tasks, the completions, the points and the colours of the members. They do not see the data of other households. We use trusted service providers, for hosting, email and monitoring. They process the data for us under confidentiality obligations.

Data on your phone

The phone app keeps a copy of your household data on the device, so that it works offline. The copy syncs with the service when the connection returns.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, a correction, or the deletion of your account and data. Write to [email protected]. We answer each request by email.

Changes to this policy

We post each change on this page and update the date at the top.
