Common questions
- Do I need an account?
- Yes. Each member signs in with an account of their own. The household list belongs to the members who share it.
- How do I add my family?
- Send an invite from the app. The person accepts the invite with an account of their own, and joins the household.
- Does HouseKing work without a connection?
- The phone app works offline. Changes that you make offline sync to the household when the connection returns.
- How are points worked out?
- Each task has a tier of 5, 10, 20 or 50 points. The points go to the member who completed the task.
- What is the weekly crown?
- The member with the most points in the current week wears the crown. The crown needs at least one point. Past champions are in the hall of fame.
- Is HouseKing free?
- Yes. There is one plan, and it costs nothing.
